The GKCOA Scholarship Fund is dedicated to assisting young people within the Greater Kansas City, Missouri area with their quest for higher education. Our purpose is to raise funds and award scholarships to outstanding scholar-athletes. Scholarships are available for current seniors attending a Missouri high school located within the Greater Kansas City Area that are involved in at least one of the following sports programs: baseball, basketball, football, softball, or volleyball.
The GKCOA Scholarship Fund's commitment is to help address the students' need to fill the financial gap experienced in pursuing higher education. As higher education costs increase, the ability to meet these costs dwindles. The GKCOA Scholarship Fund endeavors to lend a hand in the fight. Our objective is to continue increasing the total cash awards as well as the number of scholarships. We will continue to solicit assistance from corporations, friends, and supporters who share our vision for tomorrow's leaders.
The GKCOA Scholarship Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) Missouri not-for-profit corporation. Donations are tax-deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Bequests, legacies, or gifts are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes as provided for in the Code.
